About Us: who we are ...
Gareth Hughes & Co is a limited company, established in 1996 to provide accountancy and tax advice to both business and private clients.
While our clients may be very different, our approach to each one is the same: to build a close working relationship, based on our understanding of the client’s unique needs and goals.
Our knowledge of our clients allows us to recommend options and opportunities that will bring benefits both now and in the future. In the same way, we can identify issues that need to be dealt with, and appropriate solutions, before they can develop into problems.
As members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that you are working with experienced, qualified professionals. Whether you’re running a business or need advice on personal financial matters, working with a chartered accountant is always a sound investment.
Our fees
We usually base our fees on the time we spend on your affairs, although we are happy to work on a fixed fee basis. We also offer flexible payment terms to meet different client requirements.
We are always happy to meet prospective new clients on a no obligation basis and our first meeting is always free.
Fee protection insurance
With the number of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) inquiries increasing nationally, for our clients’ peace of mind we offer the option of fee protection insurance, to cover the cost of our fees in the event of an HMRC inquiry.
