Running a business is a demanding task which is why Rupert Bradley, the owner of Coastal Carpets, appreciates the relaxed relationship he enjoys with the Gareth Hughes & Co team.
Rupert set up Abergele-based Coastal Carpets, which specialises in domestic carpets and rugs, 15 years ago after learning the trade with another carpet business.
He originally worked with another accountant but as his business grew, he realised he needed an adviser with broader accountancy, tax and business development expertise than someone who was effectively a bookkeeper.
He already knew Gareth Hughes and when Gareth set up his own practice, it was a logical choice for Rupert to become a client.
Day-to-day financial matters are dealt with in-house while Gareth Hughes & Co provides services including year end accounts and tax advice.
Rupert welcomes the ongoing support of Gareth and his team, which includes visiting Coastal Carpets to “iron out” various issues, as he puts it. He says: “Everyone is very helpful and having them there makes life simpler.”
