Don't Adjust Tax Codes Yet
North Wales based Chartered Accountants Gareth Hughes and Co are advising employers and payroll managers not to adjust employees’ tax codes based on the change to personal allowances announced in May 2008. HMRC have issued guidance to this effect and will be issuing details of how and when the changes are to be implemented.
Statistics Show An Increase In Female Entrepreneurs
North Wales based Chartered Accountants Gareth Hughes and Co are encouraging local women to think about starting up their own business after statistics released by the government equalities office show that the majority of female entrepreneurs are able to work more flexibly from a self-employed status. 75% of surveyed women agreed that work-family-life balance is improved when you run your own business.
