Accountants Offer Advice on Business Sales at Workshop

Llandudno Junction-based chartered accountants Gareth Hughes & Co will focus on ways to increase the value of a business prior to sale in the firm’s latest free breakfast workshop.

The workshop, which will take place on Wednesday, 18 February, is titled How to Value Your Business and Make It Worth More. It will explore ways to groom a business for sale or for succession, which can be a key issue in ensuring the survival of family-owned enterprises.

Gareth Hughes, a director of Gareth Hughes & Co, said: “Grooming a business for sale takes time, but is a worthwhile investment for owners, to make their enterprise a more attractive prospect for high quality buyers and to increase its value.”

A further workshop, on ways for businesses to get the best value from their accountant, will take place on 18 March.

Both workshops will start with breakfast at 8am at the offices of Gareth Hughes & Co, at The Round House, Glan y Mor Road, Llandudno Junction, and conclude at 10am.
